Safb · Wichita Falls, TX
No frills. No fuss. Just honest, home-cooked meals served with the kind of warmth that turns strangers into regulars.
Our story
Tumbleweed Dining Facility opened its doors in 1946 — right after the war — to give Wichita Falls residents a place where a hot meal was just a short walk away. What started as a modest cafeteria has grown into something the whole community depends on.
We're not a chain. We don't do frozen. Everything you see on the menu is prepared in our kitchen, from scratch, using recipes passed down through the decades. The coffee is strong. The portions are generous. And the people who walk through our doors? They leave like family.

"Best fried chicken in town, hands down. My whole family drives in from Decatur just to eat here on Sundays."
— A local family
"Simple, honest food at fair prices. No gimmicks, no pretense. Just a really good meal and a friendly face when you walk in."
